About Me
Hi, I’m Ollie Dyson — founder of Odyssey Strength & Conditioning.
I’m an Exercise Scientist and Strength & Conditioning Coach dedicated to helping people move, feel, and perform at their best — not just in the gym, but in everyday life.
My journey into health and performance was shaped by my lengthy rehabilitation process from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in my early 20’s. Working closely with a variety of specialists, I learned how sleep, nutrition, mindset, nervous system regulation, and sustainable lifestyle habits all play vital roles in achieving optimal health.
Those lessons became the foundation for Odyssey Strength & Conditioning — a space driven by purpose and progress. It’s where people learn to move efficiently, train intelligently, and build the physical and mental resilience needed for long-term success.
Whether your goal is to perform at a higher level or simply feel better in your body, Odyssey is here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Building My Studio
Before I could open my business, the studio needed a full transformation.
I spent months renovating the entire space from the ground up: laying flooring, painting walls, assembling equipment, and calling in some help from my tradie mates.
Across six months and countless hours, there were days filled with demolition, plumbing, carpentry, electrical fixes, measuring, cutting ply, drilling, patching holes, and cleaning up endless dust. There were also plenty of moments where I’d put in an 8-hour day and it still felt like nothing had changed.
But slowly, piece by piece, my studio started to take shape.
It was exhausting, challenging, and easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. What kept me going through every long, dusty day was the belief that this space would one day serve the community — and genuinely improve people’s health, happiness, and quality of life.
